Our mission at The Canaan Center is to provide a compassionate, inclusive, and empowering environment for adults with disabilities to learn, grow, and thrive. We believe that every individual has unique abilities and strengths, and we are dedicated to fostering their potential through a holistic approach to education and skill development. We strive to create a culture of empathy and understanding, where individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
It all begins with an idea.
The Canaan Center was founded in 2018 to provide a better life for adults with disabilities. We offer Personal Care, Life Skills Development, and Independent Living training to meet the unmet needs of this vulnerable population.
Our Adult Day Training Program, launched in 2021, offers adult day training, career exploration, and social integration opportunities. Our mission is to provide quality personal care services and help adults with developmental disabilities reach their full potential through advocacy, and community involvement.
We are a dedicated team of care professionals committed to improving the delivery of home and community-based services in South Florida.
