The Canaan Center provides supportive services for children, teens, and adults with disabilities through engaging programs, personalized care, and a welcoming community built on dignity and growth.
My passion for this work came from the families I sat with, grieved with, and celebrated alongside. As a caregiver, I had the privilege of walking closely with one of my clients and watching how their whole family was transformed by having the right support in place. I saw the relief, the hope, and the joy that comes when someone truly shows up. That experience never left me. I built The Canaan Center because every family deserves to feel that—not as a lucky exception, but as a promise.

The Canaan Place is the nonprofit housing initiative of The Canaan Center. It represents our long-term vision to create a safe, stable, and caring home environment for individuals with disabilities who need residential support and a true sense of belonging.
